Kerry James Marshall: Every Beat of My Heart

Kerry James Marshall is bringing his Rythm Mastr story-a tale of love, vengeance, and redemption set in the inner city and featuring African American superheroes-to life with the support of a Wexner Center Residency Award that's spanned two years.
His ambitious goal is to establish the characters of his story as African American and African-inspired superheroes in contemporary youth culture. The project culminates with the exhibition and four public performances in the gallery on February 2 and 3.
