Workshop: Leather Bound Journal

Create a beautiful leather bound journal with a decorative, exposed binding and tie closure. Work with fine leather, glass beads, cording, binding threads and papers. Your multiple signature book lies flat for easy writing, sketching and journaling. On the contrasting, decorative paper flyleafs you can print a passage from Thoreau, if desired. Finish your book by stamping your initials in leather. This technique can be adapted for many different sizes & styles. Class size limited to a small group. Bring a basic tool kit and heavy duty awl.
