A Bridge Life follows Dan Sheffer, a Florida loan officer who travels to the Houston Astrodome to bring back Katrina victims after witnessing their horrible conditions on television.

The film documents Sheffer's Good Samaritan mission and how the group of survivors made a new life for themselves in the months following the disaster (with a surprise twist at the end).
