"I create art because it's the only thing that brings me comfort. Now it has become a tool for comforting me and calming many of the heightened emotions that I feel inside. I was really depressed in it became a way of expressing what I was feeling even before I learned

I feel like most of my art is about mourning all the things from my past that I had no control over. It's sharing my own vulnerability, sadness, stories that I'd never feel like sharing aloud. It's a way to share my feelings and experiences without having to see the artists face, unlike a musician where they're sharing their experiences right in front of you."
