Dispelling Myths: Celebrating Latino Culture in Columbus
Presented by Columbus International Program
Venue: Ohio Union at Ohio State University
Come learn more about the Latino population of Columbus from the personal accounts of both, Dr. Elena Foulis, a Latino immigrant who currently teaches Spanish, Literature, and Cultural Studies at The Ohio State University, and Sheila Barnhart, a licensed independent social worker. Myths about the Latino population will be addressed in order to foster "international understanding through intercultural exchange." Also, a delicious sampling of Latino cuisine will be offered throughout the event. CIP welcomes all to attend and enjoy a cultural evening in the newly built Ohio Union at Ohio State. We hope to see you there!
